For the younger ones, Despicable Me has none of the dark tones associated with this summer’s other animated hit - Toy Story 3. They will enjoy Gru’s little yellow minions making timely comedic appearances throughout the film (as the trailer hinted), though I’m glad to say they didn’t steal the show entirely.
Parents and young adults will enjoy the storyline a bit more than small children. It shines a particular light on being a single dad that most movies tend to take the opposite route on these days. Despicable Me is a warm, fun picture that the entire family will enjoy. Trust me, you’d be a despicable person if you didn’t see it :) If you’ve seen the movie, what do you think about it?

You know the sound of the Vuvuzela from the FIFA World Cup 2010. Like an endless loop of bad audio, the annoying buzz never seems to go out during a World Cup game. It’s like the fans are scripted to take turns blowing on the instrument so the sound seems to continue forever. Well.. these folks found a practical use for it.
